These terms are an agreement between you and Dialysis Log, the maker of the Dialysis Log app (“the app”). By using the app you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
In short: Dialysis Log is a notebook for your own numbers. It is not medical advice and not a medical device. Always follow your care team. It is not for emergencies. Your data stays on your phone, so back it up. The app is provided as is.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. That includes no warranty that it is accurate, reliable, error-free, always available, or fit for any particular purpose.
Dialysis Log is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent or monitor any condition, and it does not recommend anything: no fluid amounts, diets, doses, weights or treatments. It only stores the numbers you type and does simple arithmetic on them, such as totals and differences. Any limit shown is the number you entered.
The maker of Dialysis Log is not a doctor, nurse, dietitian or other medical professional.
You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you enter and for how you use it. Always follow your nephrologist, dialysis nurse, dietitian and the rest of your care team. Never ignore, delay or change medical advice or treatment because of anything in this app. If you use the app for someone else, you are responsible for the information you enter about them.
The app does not watch your numbers or alert anyone. If you think you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the US) or your dialysis unit right away.
Everything you enter is stored only on your device, in your browser’s storage. It is not uploaded, and the maker of Dialysis Log cannot see it or recover it. Clearing your browser data, deleting the home-screen app, or losing or resetting your phone can erase it. Save a backup file regularly (More → Save backup file) and keep it somewhere safe. See the Privacy page for details.
Pro is an optional one-time purchase sold through Gumroad. It is a personal license to unlock the Pro features of the app; it is not a subscription. Payments, receipts and refunds are handled through Gumroad under Gumroad’s terms. A refunded, charged-back or disabled license stops unlocking Pro. Your logged data is never deleted when that happens.
These terms may change. When they do, the version number at the top changes and the app asks you to read and agree again before you keep using it. Features of the app may also change or be removed.
If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
